Drill Team is one of our programs; it attracts some of the sharpest and most precise cadets at Drill and Ceremony. The Drill Team consists of two teams: Male and Female. Both teams use M1903 nine pound rifles, and both teams also compete in both Regulation and Exhibition competitions against many different schools. They perform dynamic and precise routines. Last year the Drill Teams were the county champions.

2008-2009 Collier County Drill Meet Champion

Male Commander: C/MSG. Pascucci

Male Schedule 09-10

Drill Team consists of competing against other schools in drill and ceremony. This club is all about looking sharp, standing out, and being precise. Drill Team has different events. There is unarmed squad/platoon and armed squad/platoon. In armed we march with M1903 nine pound rifles. Both males and females may join the club and will use the same weight rifles. Another thing that’s awesome about drill team is that we teach YOU how to spin the heavyweight rifles (M1903). By joining drill you will know more about drill and ceremony then other cadets in your company that are not. This will help for certifications in company. We are always County Champions so let’s keep it that way! Hooah!!!

Female Commander: C/MAJ. Fuller (Battalion XO)

Drill team has six events, unarmed Squad/platoon, armed squad/platoon and exhibition squad/platoon. We will be spinning heavy weight rifles this year. We were county champions last year and earned a trophy in every event! Drill team practices every Tuesday and this year we have our own field in the middle of our school. Females always have lots of members, so you'll be sure to make lots of new friends here. For our state drill meet selected members spend a weekend at a hotel where we practice drilling and have fun.
