WE can march in a straight line better than you can.

Color Guard is the highest performing club in the Golden Eagle Battalion. As the only club in Collier Country to have ever won a trophy at the state Drill Meet and one of the regular winners of the County Drill. Its epic performance is well known.

Color Guard is the best because we practice hard. We meet on Mondays after school, where we practices and perfect our already perfect drill maneuvers. Regular lunch practices and practices on other days after school keep us sharp. Many Fridays, our color guards can be seen at football games, presenting the colors on both the home and away sides. Throughout the week, the Golden Eagle Battalion Color Guard raises and lowers the national and state flag outside the school. On many weekends and in the evenings, color guard cadets can be found performing special presentations of the color guard events throughout the community. For example, for many years we performed three color guards per year with the Naples Philharmonic, presenting the colors to an audience, on stage, in front of a full orchestra playing the national anthem. For a cadet who enjoys regulation drill, and who wants to apply that drill knowledge to something useful in the community, Color Guard is the club to join.
