Hello all, I hope you’re having a good year so far! We have promotion boards coming up, so don’t be afraid to attend and try to earn some rank. Remember to study for the boards and keep your uniforms looking good. For the let 1’s, you should try out all of the clubs and see what you like. The more involved you are the better you will do. Good work on your first inspection everyone!

Hey there people, welcome back to JROTC, this is going to be a great year… blah blah blah. Let’s get down to business. First promotion board went a lot better than expected. I had lots of familiar faces and two new ones from Gulf Coast. These two cadets did a fantastic job and truly impressed the board members and myself. But, like in all boards, there is room for improvement. Next time let’s make sure that if you sign up to go to the board, YOU GO!!! Nothing makes the CSM angrier than NO SHOWS. Also,Company Commanders make sure your cadets know to address me as Sergeant Major NOT Sir. Now to snacks, this year we are stopping all snack sales 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE BELL, NOT 10 NOT 2, 5. The last thing, upperclassmen keep volunteering. So far all of you have a lot of Merits, GOOD FOR YOU! Let-1’s as soon as you can start to get involved and volunteer, START VOLUNTEERING!! It’s good for you, you get volunteer hours and merits which help improve your grade. Alright, enough talking, make this a good year.

Howdy, cadets! This school year looks like it’s going to be AWESOME and I am VERY excited to see so many new cadets and familiar faces! I would like to congratulate Javier Armenteros and Wiresh Punwasi for earning the President’s Volunteer Service Award. These two cadets have worked and earned over 100 community hours! Great job setting the example you two! Cadets, keep in mind that these upcoming drives count towards Honor Company Day and greatly help out the community in which we live in. Also remember that you are representing JROTC when you wear the uniform, so wear it correctly or you WILL receive punishment, I promise you. If you plan on going to any promotion boards you better study! Promotion boards=success! Other than that, my assistant and I are working very hard for all of you to make sure your name is on the order for the event that you participated in. That’s all I have to say for now, so get out there and represent JROTC in the best way you possibly can!
